My reflections at this time of year are about looking at the past 11 months;
how I managed things, my triumphs, lessons and choices...
I don't know about you, but when this year began- I was super excited about the upcoming year---the world was awakening and I had some grand plans for myself, my life, my business-
And, while things didn't exactly go as planned,
I feel like I'm ending this year
on solid ground.
✔I let go of some things that I thought I wanted,
✔I had take a hard look at goals I set for myself
✔I had to tell myself some deep truths (not easy)
✔I had to let go of people that I had outgrown
✔I took a look at where I let myself down
✔I recommitted to my self growth
✔I paused when I felt overwhelmed
✔I completely changed the way I bring in new clients
(and found an easier way)
✔ I asked for more public speaking gigs
Lastly, I came to the conclusion that
all I really want is a
simpler and easier life.
Even though I have twinges of regret over the way I handled certain things; but I've learned how to be compassionate with myself.
As the quote (TOP) says; leave the past behind- those moments in life are over.
I feel more confident to walk into 2023 with
POWER, PEACE and PURPOSE
Lastly,
In speaking with clients recently; there seems to be a bit of sadness at the end of this year- perhaps you're feeling it too...or maybe you know someone who is feeling this way...
I encourage everyone to check up on your friends, family and people in your life. If you've been thinking about someone, follow your intuition and reach out and say "hi"....
We truly never know what someone else is going through; so the best
gift you can give is your presence.
